Another Amazing Year Support Anthem LemonAid - Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

Saturday, July 15th 2017 - Micah, Gavin & Dylan did a fantastic job selling lemonade for Anthem LemonAid - Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. $822.22!!!!!!  We were at Kroger on Staples Mill Rd from 10-2.  We look forward to next year. KIDS HELPING KIDS FIGHT CANCER!

Glow Run Water Stop July 8, 2017

Such a fun event on Saturday night!  July 8th, we volunteered to work the Glow Run water stop at Maymont.  It was neat seeing everyone with glowing.  This run supports the upkeep of the grounds & programs at Maymont. We were excited to be a part of it this year.

 

Housing Families First - played with the kids

We had another wonderful night of hanging out with the kids at Housing Families First so their families could take classes.  Micah really enjoys playing with the kids especially showing them how to make cool paper airplanes. 

Bagels for the Greenwood Elementary School Office

Micah took bagels to the Greenwood Elementary School Office. We all appreciated all the hard work they do all school year.

Housing Families First - Wed, 6/21/17

Micah & Mom volunteered to play with the kids at Housing Families First so that their parents could take classes to help them live productively.  Micah had a blast help the kids make paper airplanes & and everyone flying them. They also played a fun game of tag. 

Greenwood Gents volunteers to clean up after field day!

The Greenwood Gents (Micah 3rd from the right) & their Teacher Mr. Taylor volunteered to clean up trash after field day.  It was hot, but they did a great job. 

Volunteering for the Water Stop at the Memorial 5k & 12k

Memorial Day, Monday May 29th, we volunteered to work the water stop at the Memorial 5k / 12k race.  We had a wonderful time seeing all the people supporting our veterans. There were a lot of people carrying the American Flag - see one awesome lady below.
